Rochester Real Beer Expo 2022
After a two year postponement we are excited to announce that the 10th Rochester Real Beer Expo will be held on Saturday June 11th, 2022 on Gregory Street in the South Wedge neighborhood! Tickets are on sale now and any tickets previously purchased to the 2020 event are valid for the new date.
Local business owners from the award-winning South Wedge neighborhood have joined forces through the Business Association of the South Wedge Area (BASWA) to once again bring you a street party with over 120 of the most exciting craft beers currently available with a heavier focus on the best of the regional breweries. The event will be held on Saturday June 11th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a pre-event VIP/Preview hour at 5:00 PM. The event will be held on tree-lined Gregory Street in the South Wedge, from Whalin Street to South Clinton Avenue. Along with a world-class collection of craft beers we will be serving up some ciders and the best of our local food trucks, hand rolled cigars, and live music by some of Rochester's most talented musicians. All outside on a warm summer evening. Plus a few surprise twists that will delight and amaze you for our 10th Anniversary!
We love our neighborhood and we love good beer. We always strive to bring you a beer festival that captures what is new and exciting in the ever-changing craft beer community. Our neighborhood thrives on its creativity and diversity and we will bring you an experience that reflects that. All the proceeds from this event are rolled back into the neighborhood revitalization projects undertaken by BASWA. Projects include public art, community events, improvements to our street lighting and sidewalk furniture, public landscaping and parks maintenance.
